Trained, Tested and Thorough Technicians
Trained technicians and tradesmen are hard to come by in our computerized world. Hale’s hand selects our employees and puts them through comprehensive training over weeks, months and years to become some of the best in the industry. Our technicians come prepared to perform your installation, service or troubleshoot smoothly and efficiently.
TRAINING IS PRIORITY AT HALE’S:
Training is so important to our team that our owners take valuable time to train in all areas personally. From customer service to placement to intricate installations and repairs, each field team member receives personalized training. Vice President and Director of Field Operations, David Hale is one of the leading Generac technicians on the East Coast and former Generac Trainer. Mr. Hale makes himself available throughout the day for technician and installer questions as they arise. Your technician or installer on the phone? Most likely they are conferencing with either Generac Factory Technicians or David Hale for answers or direction for new challenges to avoid costly time on the job or repair to you, our valued customer.
BECOMING A TRAINED TECHNICIAN AT HALE’S:
Each Generac Technician begins their training as a Tech In Training at Hale’s. New technicians will go through a minimum of three months of rigorous field and in-house training. Routine testing and simulations will be given to your technicians to ensure they are equipped to follow troubleshooting steps, determine necessary and complete repair plans. Once a plan is in place, they are trained and tested on efficiently making complete repairs and testing their work. This testing of their work ensures the repair is complete to give you peace of mind. During normal routine service training new technicians will learn the complete Hale way of performing requested services. Under the guidance of a seasoned and trained technician, a new technician will be able to demonstrate both service and repair understanding and performance.
Upon successfully completing Hale’s training requirements a technician will be certified to perform basic services. At this point a technician is ready to have training scheduled with Generac. Generac training is scheduled at Generac’s Wisconsin Training facility or National Power Corporation (a Generac Certified and Authorized Training Industrial Dealer) in Raleigh, NC. Upon completion of training our technicians are fully trained and certified to perform the repairs to your Warranted Generac Product in which they have trained (Air-Cooled, Diesel, Portable Power or Industrial Power). Training, depending on certification, can last 2-5 days and is classroom and hands on training.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS OF DEALERSHIPS:
Training updates are required by Generac to maintain both technician status and our dealership status. Each Generac dealer is required to have a specified number of trained and certified dealers to remain a servicing dealer. Not all dealers are trained Service Dealerships. Hale’s Electrical Service has had minimally two trained technicians on staff since 2004, with David Hale training technicians for Generac in 2007 and 2008. David Hale rarely works in the field these days however, he is always available for our technicians and always on call during major weather events, as are all staff and team members!
