This year we have been faced with a situation unlike anything we have seen in our lifetimes. The corona-virus has drastically changed our day to day lives. During this uncertain time, we wanted to provide you with an update on how the HaleYES team is approaching this challenge.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to everyone who the pandemic has impacted, especially those families who have had to deal with the virus directly. We will continue to send our best wishes and prayers to these families. Our hearts also go out to the selfless workers in the healthcare and public safety fields who are on the front-lines ensuring our communities stay healthy and safe.

Secondly, we want to assure you that we are dedicated to the health of our team and their families, you our customers, and the communities we serve.
Being a supplier and service dealer of Generac Automatic Standby Generators, we have been deemed an essential business which allows Hale’s Electrical Service to operate under the current orders put into effect by our governor. We understand that many of you rely on your Generac Automatic Standby Generators when the power goes out for your health needs or to keep your business open. Rest assured the HaleYES team will continue to provide Generac Generator installations, services, and repairs while doing everything in our power to keep you and our team safe and healthy.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Virginia we have implemented steps to keep our team, our customers, and our communities safe. Since March we have closed our offices to the public, provided personal protective equipment such as face masks and gloves to our team members, increased our office and vehicle cleaning measures and modified our services to prevent physical contact between our customers and our team while on site.

During your next service or repair you may notice the following changes: our technicians will call you to notify you of their arrival instead of coming to your door; if you are outside during the service our technicians will maintain the 6 foot social distancing rule; and our technicians will not be leaving any paperwork at your home or business. After your service, our office will e-mail or mail you a copy of your work order and invoice. Once you receive your invoice you may pay online, over the phone, or mail in your payment.

UPDATE 5/15/2020: While Governor Northam has allowed most of the state of Virginia to enter Phase 1 of reopening today, we will continue to operate under the procedures outlined in the letter below. We understand many of our customers are in the higher risk groups and our top priority is doing our part to keep everyone safe while providing the premier Installation, Service, and Repair of Generac Automatic Standby Generators in Central Virginia that you have come to expect from us. We are proud to say that we have not stopped serving our community and will continue to do as long as we are able to do so safely. We look forward to the day when we can safely welcome you to our showroom again. In the meantime, we hope all of you will continue to follow the advice of our state’s and nation’s leading medical advisors.

UPDATE 7/1/2020: As we enter into Phase 3 we will begin booking appointments for showroom visits. You will be asked to remain in you vehicle until instructed by a team member. When you arrive you will need to call the office and a team member will come to greet you outside and assist you further. A face mask is required to enter our buildings. If you are not willing to wear a mask, you are still more then welcome to stop by our showroom to make a payment or purchase a Geneerac Product but will be asked to remain outside. We will still strongly encourage contactless forms of business, such as email, mail, and phone payments via e-check or credit card. As we are adding updates we will begin archiving old updates at the bottom of this page only the most recent update will live above the orginal content of this post. We look forward to these next steps as we continue to move forward in the safest manner we can.

UPDATE 9/1/22: As we move to a new normal we are resuming full operations with some adjustments. You may now stop by our office any time Monday – Friday 9 AM – 4 PM. Masks are available to customers who wish to use them. We will contuine to hand out hand santizer as one of our many customer giveaways. From time to time our offices may be closed to the public should we experience an outbreak. Our feild crews will contuine to clean their vehicles ona regular basis and have masks, gloves, foot covers should customers request their use if our crews need to enter their home to complete service work.
