How Old is Your Generator Battery?
Old Battery in your Generac Generator?? When did you have it replaced last? Did you know batteries used for Home Standby Generators do not carry the same warranty a car battery does?

Hale’s recommends battery replacement every three (3) years to prevent explosion. Battery explosions cause acid to spread inside your generator when your battery ruptures and your generator attempts to perform its weekly testing. Acid inside your generator will corrode the copper windings on your alternator over time. This corrosion can cause your copper internal components to shred, corrode, and be unable to provide the Generac backup power you depend on.
Depending on the age of your generator, your alternator, and other necessary repair parts may now be obsolete, making repairs impossible. Replacement of those parts that are available can be extremely expensive. Protect yourself and your investment! Replace your battery as recommended by your dealer! Hale’s has stood by the three (3) year rule and it has worked for us and our valued customers for 22 years!
