Many of our customers ask us to note their propane level on our work order at their service. While this is a great idea and service, it hardly meets the overall need when we are only out to see a generator once or twice a year. Imagine if we could monitor it with you remotely using a simple inexpensive device, and some technology you may already have or be using.
Mobile Link remote monitoring combines with our Tank Utility monitoring to assist you with your propane level and other needs before and after the storm. Many of your local propane providers are now monitoring propane levels and refilling only when your levels dip to a certain percentage. Unless you are below a certain level, your propane provider may not get to you in time to keep your Generac Generator operational during the storm. We saw this during the ice storm of 2021, and since then we have been educating customers on the value of Remote Monitoring both their generator, and their propane through the Mobile Link App and Tank Utility monitor, which displays through the Mobile Link App. Additionally, we can provide your Propane provider with the same fuel level information, allowing them to potentially ensure your propane levels are where they should be, and when you may need a fill up.
