Residential Backup Power
Keep a Generac Portable Generator ready for those emergency outages. Whether electric start, pull start or both, a portable generator can be a lifesaver in an emergency outage.
CAUTION: To prevent back feeding to the power lines, be sure if you have a plug /outlet you are using that you have a qualified electrician wire your outlet to avoid back feeding which can ultimately injure or kill power/line workers.

Construction Power
Before the power is connected to new construction, out on a remote site, a Generac Portable is easy to use, plenty of circuits and economical.
"Wow! I was surprised at how much quieter my 8000 Watt Portable ran on the jobsite. I ran for over 16 hours on a tank of gasoline, dropped the handles, loaded it up and off the job!" - Tri-Star Construction, Inc. J. Cosby

Tailgating, outdoor shows and events
The small, lightweight iX inverter models are a quick fix that are quieter than a portable and require less fuel for longer run. Great to plug in a few lights, a computer, and a variety of smaller items, this is an indisputable work horse for smaller jobs. This is a tailgaters favorite model and all models (800 Watt - 2000 Watt) under $500!
Hale's Electrical Service, Inc. uses this model annually at their booth at the Dinwiddie County Fair for lighting and several smaller items. Come out to the fair and see our display of models!
